FreeHC12 is a free software toolchain and library for embedded programming on Freescale HC12 and HCS12 microcontrollers. It supports easy software development on the Dragon12-Plus evaluation board, including the D-Bug12 boot loader.
GNU Binutils is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 3. The GNU compiler collection (gcc) is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 2. For the Newlib C library, the newlib and libgloss subdirectories are a collection of software from several sources, each with their own copyright and license. See the file COPYING.NEWLIB for details. The rest of the release tree is under either the GNU GPL or LGPL licenses.
